NEW PROMOTIONS AND OCTOBER

Starting October 1st, I'm going to be running a very special promotion in my store...but it's still a secret for now!

I am still finishing up some new breads...it's a big surprise!! :D  One of these breads won HUGE reviews during a taste test!!

On other news, I have been having problems with the post office here!  It is very frustrating when I am sending out so many packages during the week.  >_<  But things are starting to look up because our original postmaster is coming back from maternity leave...yay! :)

This weather sure feels like Autumn already!

I woke up this morning to crystal clear blue skies, beautiful sun and it was only 56 degrees this morning!  It was such a beautiful morning :)  The normal temperature for here is still in the 70s and low 80s, but I will not complain because it's actually quite a nice break from the hot and humid 95 degree days.  I have all the windows open in my house and the air outside just smells so fresh.  It's about 65 right now and still brightly sunny and beautiful.  This day has also been inspirational since I have come up with 4 ideas for more bread recipes!  Yay! :)

Well I'm going to get offline for now, I am going to take a walk and enjoy the beautiful sunshine :)

Refreshed after the long weekend!

During the holiday weekend I came up with a long list of new recipes to try and I'm putting them in the oven today!  Voting is still open in my shop if anyone would like to comment on what they think their favorite bread is...there will be a special promotion for the top bread! :)

Also, I have some festive holiday breads in the mix that will start being sold November 1st!  Wait until you see what they look like! YUMM!!!!  :D

Autumn Love

Okay, so everyone's opinion on Autumn and Halloween is always different.  Some people hate it, some people love it...for me, it's my favorite time of year!  There is just something about the Autumn air that is so much different than any other season.  Plus, the susets are completely and eerily cool the way they just fade off onto the dark blueish black skies.  When I think of Autumn, I think of hot apple cider, beautifully bright colored leaves, the way the empty branches make neat scratching sounds in the wind, hot soups, beautiful scarves, lighting lots of candles, Halloween (of course!), mystery books, horror movies, and night time rain hitting against my window as I sleep.

Although I definitely love Summer, there is something special about Autumn that no other season has.

The Wicked Witch's Poison Apple Bread!

I had a taste testing with this today and it went over HUGE...EVERYONE loved it! yay!! :D

And the 2nd MONSTER BREAD is revealed today as...

THE WICKED WITCH'S POISON APPLE BREAD!!

May look scary, but tastes amazing!  It's an apple bread with cherries (with black sprinkles) oozing out everywhere...yummmm!  And don't worry, no real poison here ;)

I am in the midst of creating some brand new yummy recipes for everyone to try!  I am thinking of giving away small samples, with any purchase, and having customers take a survey of what their favorite *new* treat is :)  I will start selling these yummy new flavors starting November 1st.  So keep an eye out on some new flavors coming out :)

Also...Halloween is coming up!  I am creating the perfect Halloween breads for any type of Halloween party! (whether it's kooky, creepy, for kids, etc.)
